Santa Thanks Asda

Santa and his helpers from Doncaster Went Valley Lions Club would like to thank Asda at Carcroft for allowing us to land his sleigh outside their store for the last two Thursdays. Santa sends thanks to all those people who stopped to say hello, he was especially happy to see all the good boys and girls who came to see him. He sends a special wish to the little boy who came dressed in a Santa suit and who loved to shake his belly.

At this time of year we need to spare a thought for all of those who are on their own or don’t have the things we take for granted. If you have elderly or vulnerable neighbours who have no one to share this Christmas with then why not extend a helping hand and keep a check on them especially if the weather gets worse. Why not invite them in for a drink and a chat or just make sure you wish them a happy Christmas to show that they are in your thoughts this Christmas.

Santa Has to Delay Trip To Doncaster

Due to problems at the North Pole, Santa has had to delay his trip to Doncaster today. It seems that there has been an increased number of children being good requiring Santas elves to work extra hard making additional presents. This has caused some unrest within the workforce requiring Santa to remain at the North Pole to help keep things on track for Christmas Eve.

Due to Santa’s delay we have had to cancel the visit to Woodlands tonight. We are truly sorry that we have not been able to come and see you, we will try and sort out another day for us to come and see you. Santa has said that he should be free tomorrow, so we hope that things will be back to normal from tomorrow.

Keep checking our Christmas Fund Raising page for more details, we will update it as soon as we know Santa has arrived.
